Macbeth

Cat Andre’s 90-minute adaptation of Macbeth invigorated this passionate tale of ambition and revenge with new humanity for its lead characters, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. This site-specific piece began as a staged reading that transforms into a highly theatrical, intensely involved production. As the stakes were raised, the play expanded throughout the entire Chancellor Green Library,  production elements came from the actual library, requiring an intense creativity from the team to evoke the severe, supernatural atmosphere of Macbeth with light and found objects.
